A way God's work can be seen is when a child skins his knee, for instance. His mother will put some kind of liquid on it to make it better. He squirms and wants to cry because the pain feels so intense, but he knows that it will only be a short time, even though the pain hurts, and he knows that when it is no longer in pain it will become better. Sometimes when something happens, one must go through pain to make it better. The pain may not be realized as a good thing when someone is in it, so what do you do? Trust and have faith.

ReplyDeleteIt gets bad when the child DOESN'T realize the pain is only for a short time or that the pain is for his own good. That's why we have to be constantly reminded that God only has our and everyone's best interest in mind.
