"Time for our warm-ups!"

A special party for our special friend. ("Aaaawww") :P

Yesterday, we celebrated our friend Holden's 18th birthday! We all crammed in the van to drive to Gulf Breeze to play on the bluffs. I am always up for an adventure, so jumping down steep sand hills and swinging on tree ropes definitely counts.

Where we went is a very steep sand hill with flour-powder sand that would be fun for a board or cardboard box to slide down on. The pictures do not really give you the full affect of how steep it really is, such as when we are swinging on the rope. The trick to it is that you have to swing out, and then when you look like you are about to hit the tree let go and try not to roll down to the water. Of course this caused lots of screaming and squeals from the people watching.

It was a fun place that we will definitely have to revisit! Maybe next time we can go to Beaver Pond Trail! :D

We ended the day with some good ol' spaghetti and cake with a movie. (after a game of marbles, of course!) All of the necessities.
