After stopping to get my present, we picked up some veggie wraps from the Roly Poly-somewhere I had just heard of and wanted to try-took a quilt out to Seville Square and ate under a friendly tree. (my request :) After spending awhile eating and visiting under our friendly tree, I also got to finally try an ice cream\dessert place across from Christ church. (another of my requests) A lot of the time was spent doing errands, but they were fun errands to me that were mostly downtown, (Cycle Sports, Ever'Man, Joe Patti's, etc.) and spending them with the right person is always as perfect as a sunny day. :)
So sweet! I'm glad you posted your picture. What a special thing to do for your birthdays. Simple pleasures. These are the things you will always remember.
ReplyDeleteThat is so sweet!! It sounds like you both had a lot of fun. :)
ReplyDeleteOh, and where is that Roly Poly place? It sounds so cool! And how was the ice cream shop? We might try to stop by there some time after the farmer's market, but I forgot it's name...silly me... :}
Ugghh....Something happened to the computer, so I lost some stuff on here! :\
ReplyDeleteThe Roly Poly place is right next to the Starbucks on Bayou (the left side). It is really small and is in a little strip of buildings. Mmm....
The ice cream place is called Dolcel. It is really cute, and the walls look like our walls. :D
Aww, the same happened on my blog. Well I don't remember what my old comment was on here but I remember loving this post and picture. :)
ReplyDeleteYou have a WONDERFUL family and hope you had a great birthday! Sorry I was lost half the time!_
ReplyDeleteWell, Jeremey! Where did you come from? ;P Hi! Thanks, I did have a great birthday, and I'm glad that you and your mom made it out. :)
