In the Good Ol' Summertime...

For the past 3 years, we have spent happy summer evenings at Seville Square where they hold Music in the Park every Thursday night. (when we are not threatened by weather, of course!) It is not that we necessarily go for the music, because goodness knows that sometimes they just play stuff that makes me want to bang my head against a wall! It is more of the fact that it is a way to break from the usual hub-bub during the week; to lay a quilt out, see friends and family, maybe eat a smackeral, (or two, or three...) to just relax and have a good time. It has become one of our favorite traditions in the summer.

This past week's smackeral contribution:
Ruthie's non-lemon blossoms, and Sarah's lemon blueberry bars. Mmm mmm mmm!

We could hear the music from afar while walking, which is very pleasant! Almost like we were in a movie! Oh yeeeah...

We found an easier way to carry our balloons around: we tied them to our hair! Why of course!

  2. I love this. And how sweet you all shared these delicious muffins with me. My favorite pic has to be the sunset...yet you girls all look very cute. I love how the park pictures look just like summer: bright and playful. Perfect.
