a pretty day for the beach

This past Sunday, we took the boys to the beach. We had them for the weekend and thought it would be nice to take them out since they had not been in a long time. Jackson, who was 6 months the last time he was at the beach, did not even remember the ocean. They liked it very much out there, but at first had to get used to the water; how it would push and pull them, and how it tasted like salt instead of chlorine when it got in their mouths.

It was a very pretty day with beautiful water with only a couple jellies here and there. Hannah and Neil even met us out later on to enjoy the beautiful sunset we had. And to top off the end of the day, we were treated with milkshakes from Grandpapa and Grandma. I just love the beach, especially at the end of day, and driving over the bridges with hardly any light left in the sky. I so love the beach, and we were only so happy to share it with our boys.

  1. Twas a fun day and it was so fun to experience the magic of the beach with little boys. I forget how old we all have gotten and it's fun to have running and playing children out there. Nice pictures, Dearie!

  2. I was a copy-cat and posted about our beach day too. I don't mind having doubles if you dont, and think it's fun to see the different perspectives of the same day! So keep up your picture-taking and posting. :)
