The Approaching Storm

There are countless times I have probably mentioned how much I love watching the weather on the water, but each time the weather and scenery is so different that when I say how much I enjoy it, it is only because each time it feels like it is something new. I love my beach; I love my water. When I am here, I feel at home; I feel at peace.

The boys LOVE the water. Makes me happy.

This was about when I was beginning to sense how cool it would be for a wide angle lens.

Not exactly the sort of beach trip Grandma planned on, but we just gotta do what we gotta do.

  1. Oooo! You are getting really good at that camera Sarah! I love the pictures where the clouds kind of cut the sky.... :)

  2. Thanks guys! :) It really helps just having some awesome material as a prop. It makes it so that I hardly have to do anything!

  3. It is much nicer having you narrate in person. I get more behind-the-scenes. ;)
But again, cool pictures! These are some of my favorite times on the beach. It's such a unique experience and I never tire of it (unless Neil has a kite up).
Maybe one day you can get a wide-angle, or just use mine! :D

  4. Those are truly amazing pictures! I think I saw all of those clouds at camp! One of our counselors was obsessed with the clouds! :)

  5. Give yourself more credit than that Missy....you have to capture a moment in time with a camera that may make it easi-er, but you still have to push the button at the proper time...just sayin'...good eye.
