Simon the Snail

Anyone who knows me probably knows my love for animals and such. That person may also know my impulse to talk to and name anything and everything as if they were my old friends. If you know all this about me, you would not be surprised by me getting a picture of this snail and naming it. (not to add that I had to talk to him during all of this process)

This little guy I found on our front porch enjoying the shade when I was heading out for a run the other day. I stooped down to check him out, especially seeing that I had just read about snails in Biology, but didn't really think much of him. Until I went out again this morning and found him in the same spot. Instantly he was named and *snap* went the camera. He was gone when I got back from my run a little later, but I am sure that he will return.
